Stinz can be a foul-tempered stallion, even with a kid.
When running a blockwatch, I told our kid auxiliary — because they insisted on being part of it — that they were NOT to intervene in problems. Because “adults can and WILL kill kids.”
They listened, and quietly reported, and we stopped an idiot who was shooting out of a basement apartment. Pretty cool kids.
We HAD to include the kids — or they’d have gone off and imitated the grownups with no supervision or control!
I think all of us whose moms got pregnant have had this conversation about the evil younger sibling.

I’d just discovered that the town I was living in at the time — Bremerton, Washington — held the Guiness record for tallest hollyhock, at eighteen feet.
