Belief can be dangerous…..
This is like German writers — bad guys kill animals.
Dan says I draw “dead” really well. REAL dead, not just lying there (there’s a difference). Don’t know why. Kinda don’t want to know.
Ghost story! Done originally for Eclipse Comics Hallowe’en issue #12 of The Dreamery.
The name is based on the delicious Victorian bogeyman, Spring-heeled Jack.
I had so much fun drawing this story.
This is my attitude about bullying. Don’t deal with the children. Hand it off to the responsible adults. Whether they think they are or not.
Picking up a wounded predator can be done, if we take advantage of a bird’s ability to learn – the first time – within seconds and allow a captor’s guard to go down.
Odd little center panel there… I think I had just seen a painting on a whole-cover canvas, whose sides included the continued art.
I’m doing a story for AFTERDEAD now where Stinz finally gets that arrow. But that’s another story, in another world.
Occupation troops are so much fun.
