Stinz really wasn’t around to see how much Bruna ballooned up with Andri, for all he knows she’s barely put on any weight at all.
Glad I had my girls so close together (16 months apart); they don’t remember being without one another and hate to be separated. Before baby #2 was born, I spent a whole lot of time talking to my oldest about being a good big sister and how important it is for her to set a good example for the new baby. Now, even when they’re fighting they’ll say they’re best friends. No dethronement issues. No resentment, No jealousy. My biggest problem now is how effectively they get into mischief together.
My eldest younger brother and I are what is called “Irish Twins.” My mother said we couldn’t have caused any more trouble if we were real twins. Say “sugar” to my elder sister and watch her flinch.
I admit that while this is a fictional story, it’s stuff like this that makes me glad my sister always loved me. She looked forward to getting a baby sister or brother, and we have a hilarious picture where she’s sitting with me as a baby, and I’ve suddenly started crying. And she has this funny “O_o” face XD
I was fine with my younger sister (by nearly 4 years) until they started playing favorites on me. Obvious who was more of the favorite, eh? I can’t WAIT for them to start it up with the Golden Goose’s new baby vs the only grandson they’ll have.
Ha! This makes me think of how my brother and I were when we were little. I used to beat up on him until one he got smart and punched me back. I never tried to whack him one again, at least not with my fists. Foot fighting, on the other hand, I was very good at that. When barefoot my big toenails are like scimitars.
My brother once mocked me behind my mom’s back. YES, I got punished for my immediate rage and plowing into him — but he still got the beating. I wonder my mom didn’t tie us in sacks and throw us in the bay.
This is the story that made me buy my first Stinz copy! I often wonder what’s the age difference between Andri and Reet? HE makles me think of our age differences at home, my older brother is 12 years above me and I am 7 years above my youngest brother. Each of us was pretty much raised as an only child and understandably we don’t get along much! XD
When my boyfriend’s mother came back from the hospital with his little sister he actually walked right up and said “I hate you and your new baby.”
Also I think it’s funny how Stinz is demanding to know if Bruna is planning on having twins.
My poor youngest brother was persecuted all our childhoods; talk about the runt of the litter!
Yeah, like she can help you with that, stallion.

Good point.

We forget how scary childhood was!

TELL me about it! I was Daddy’s little darling, but my Mom thought I was garbage. It was the other way ’round for my elder sister. BAD parenting move.

Bingo. You’ll get the story about that, too, and why there’s such a leap among the half-horses.
